Nice LA Benge in for some 2nd slide work.
This Selmer Mark VII Alto came in for some minor work. Great player! I know some people poo poo the 7’s, but don’t underestimate this horn.
Always struggled with supporting cellos on the bench properly… $17 memory foam pillow from Target….problem solved!
Couple of nice recorders in for a tenon cork and some bore oiling. I don’t see a lot of recorders in around here. (At least not really nice wood ones)
My Music Medic Air Torch…one of my most used tools for sax and b clar work…allows me to heat up the pad cup without scorching the surrounding pads, felts, etc.
On July 1, 2014, Salisbury Music & Instrument Repair closed it’s retail location at 925 Eastern Shore Drive. There were many reasons, but the primary reason was that I wasn’t generating enough revenue to keep a “retail” location open.
I am still in business and doing about 80% of what I did before.
I moved my repair shop into the garage of my house, and am still doing band and orchestra instrument repairs.
